Lee Bobae (b.1983)
I work with photography to explore everyday life and my family. Starting from my personal experience, I observe how relationships I form with people, places, and objects are created and transformed, paying attention to the traces and distances that emerge over time. This perspective leads to questions about how contemporary life is sustained and continues. My approach has been influenced by the photobook Yoonmi’s Album by Jeon Mong-gak, particularly in its attitude toward recording everyday life.
